| The Oxford Business Association was established in 1966 by a group of Oxford businessmen who were not affiliated with any political groups or to any town politics. They, at the time, thought that another body of informed business leaders should be formed to have more impact on important issues, because individual businesses were not making an impact. In 1966, fifteen businesses started the association. Each year, more and more businesses joined and at present, we are over 50 strong. The purpose of the association is outlined as such. |
