T. Cummings arrived late. The minutes of the September meeting and the treasurers report had been completed and approved. There are now 81 members with 55 paid. 

The advertising booklet still has 17 requests for ads so far.

The Fall Food Festival will be held on Saturday Oct. 8th. at Joslin Park and at the Community Center. The OBA has donated $50.00. We will put our "It Pays To Do Business In Oxford" sign up next to the Lion's Club pumpkin booth.

There was again discussion concerning the Oxford Planning Board and the problems that new businesses are having in locating in Oxford. Part of the problem, is the new Storm water management rules and Peer Review charges. The board agreed that a letter should be written to the Town Manager voicing our concerns. 

New Business:

Wilson Language will be having a open house on the 15th. from 2 to 5pm. Members are invited. 

BK Tree has plans for a 8,000 square foot building.

Home Depot will be going to the Planning Board with plans for a warehouse on Sutton Ave..

Eagle Transportation will be using the old airport for trailer storage. There are plans for a 20,000 square foot Horse Arena on Ennis Rd.

Discussion took place concerning the “Christmas Party” but was decided that a business after hours" event in January would be best.
