The meeting opened at 7:05 PM with the secretary’s
report being read by T. Cummings. L. Crowley read the treasurer’s
report.

The
Bandstand account now has enough money to put in a sprinkler system
which should include a rain gauge. The shrubs will be replaced with
flowers that will bloom all summer.
G Starkus will work on the design.

2013 Celebration The Town Engineer
gave L. Crowley a map of
Main Street
showing the current tree placement and sites for new trees. The OBA
has guaranteed that 15 trees will be placed for 2013. We will ask the
Town Engineer to speak the tree project at the
annual meeting. Other discussion took place concerning OBA activities
on the day of the parade such as a booth or float. |

The OBA is looking
for 4 golfers to enter the Lion’s Club tournament on
Friday 6/19/10
Dan Prouty will set up the team.

| The OBA Annual
meeting will be Wednesday May 26th at the Pine Ridge Golf
Club from
6
to
9 PM
. Jennie Caissie has
agreed to be the featured speaker. We are considering asking the Town
Engineer to speak also. |
| C. Proctor
reviewed the Town Meeting articles, in particular #’s
14, 20 and 21. The Board voted
to state that the OBA is not in favor of Article 21. |
